Dr. Carl Lavorata attended New York University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in biology. He attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987.  In 1988, Dr. Carl purchased a home and dental office in Commack, NY, which was later moved to its current location in Smithtown.  Carl attributes his success in life to his faith saying “through the years with a strong faith in God, I have enjoyed being involved in many charitable causes, both locally and nationally.  I have been blessed with tremendous success in business and feel honored to be of assistance to so many in need.” Dr. Carl has volunteered at Kings Park Psychiatric Hospital for 7 years, St. Catherine of Sienna Nursing Home for 29 years, Knights of Columbus for 36 years, ran its Basketball Free Throw Contest for 25 years, and helped many patients throughout the community in need both dentally and financially for the last 35 years. Lastly, Dr. Lavorata says “I am extremely proud to say that my staff and I have always been committed to serving our patients’ needs in every possible way.  We consider our patients as family and will always continue this path.”
